hey all, check out some of my pics from my last visit to boston. Most of them are from newbury street and I think there are a couple from the MFA and a couple from south station area.
Hello everyone, here are some pictures from the World According To Jess runway show and also some behind the scene shots at the Bahar Korcan show. I had an amazing time and learned a lot at Fashion Week 2004. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Jess is the person I intern with on my days off. Jess, along with myself and several other people have been putting this show together for months. The show was amazing, and in my eyes turned out exactly the way it was invisioned. Congratulations Jess, it was fabulous!
The Bahar Korcan show turned out wonderful as well (what I saw of it at least). I was a dresser for this show, this means I had my own model to take care of (Constantini) and make sure she was ready to go and in her runway look. Everyone was so beautiful and the clothes were gorgeous. After the show was over we were able to walk around the tents, this was an experience as well; I tried to go see the Micheal Kors show but there was no room left in the tent, oh well maybe next season!
Ok, so I'm writing this blog entry to really find out if anyone reads my entries, or if I'm just writing to myself. So I guess if you read these things, you can respond to my little cat story. A couple of weeks ago a large cat, quite plump I must say, was killed outside my apartment. I was so grossed out and sad for the road kill that I could not bring myself to look out the window. My roomate and myself, being good kind hearted cat "likers" called the police and asked them to remove the carcass from our beautiful view of the ghetto. But, the police did not come until the next day and by that point the cat had rotated, flipped and squirted several times from absent minded drivers who apparently did not see the large orange dead cat on the black road(sorry to those that are real cat lovers). Anyway, my question is "How the hell do drivers not see a large, plump, orange cat, dead in the road?" It makes you realize who you are on the road with,......irresponsible cat haters.
